Maharashtra Police arrested Sudarshan Ghule and Sudhir Sangle in connection with the murder of Beed sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh. The arrests came three days after a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed. Valmik Karad, an aide of NCP minister Dhananjay Munde, had earlier surrendered, sparking demands for Munde’s removal amid political controversies.
