Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced BSNL’s financial recovery and its upcoming 5G launch by mid-next year. The state-owned telco has achieved 12% revenue growth and doubled its operating profit. BSNL plans to install 1 lakh indigenous 4G towers, some of which will be upgraded to 5G. The government is also focusing on reviving India Post through logistics and e-commerce expansion.
