The cabinet committee on security, led by the PM, approved two critical deals worth Rs 10,200 crore for ammunition of the indigenous Pinaka multi-launch artillery rocket systems. These deals include high-explosive pre-fragmented rocket ammunition and area denial munitions, enhancing the Army’s capabilities with extended strike ranges and area saturation features.
