Govt moves Supreme Court for clubbing all pleas on online gaming law

The Central government has petitioned the Supreme Court to consolidate three writ petitions from different High Courts challenging the constitutional validity of the ‘Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act’. The Act, which came into force on August 22, faces challenges from Head Digital Works, Bagheera Carrom, and Clubboom 11 Sports and Entertainment.
