Jagdeep Dhankhar applies for pension, claims MLA benefits in Rajasthan – why it was stopped in 2019

Jagdeep Dhankhar, after resigning as Vice President citing health issues, has applied to resume his pension as a former legislator in Rajasthan. He previously received this pension until becoming the governor of West Bengal in 2019. Now 74, Dhankhar is entitled to a monthly pension of Rs 42,000, with the Rajasthan Assembly secretariat processing his application following his resignation.
