Tariq Karra, JKPCC president, initiated a hunger strike in Srinagar, demanding the restoration of statehood for Jammu and Kashmir. This protest, a part of the ‘Hamari Riyasat, Hamara Haq’ campaign, saw participation from senior Congress leaders. Karra stated the movement aims to reverse the 2019 decision to revoke J&K’s special status.
