A Bijnor court has handed down a rigorous life sentence to Shubhdeep Singh, a 30-year-old from Shahjahanpur, along with a Rs 40,000 fine, for the murder of a taxi driver. Ramnarayan, the victim, was hired to drive Singh from Haridwar to Najibabad in August 2022 when he was shot and the car was stolen on the highway in Nagina.
