Nearly 8 lakh students in India have enrolled in AI courses at the secondary level, while over 50,000 have opted for it at the senior secondary level for the 2024-25 academic year. The government emphasized the growing importance of AI education, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020’s focus on 21st-century skills.
