In Chhattisgarh’s Surguja district, a DAV Public School teacher was fired after severely punishing an eight-year-old student. The teacher forced the class 2 girl to do 100 squats and beat her with a stick, causing serious leg injuries. Police have filed a case against her under BNS and the Juvenile Justice Act.
