The Uttarakhand government has implemented a 10% horizontal reservation for retired Agniveers in Group “C” uniformed government services. This initiative exempts them from physical fitness tests and provides age relaxation equal to their service period. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting ex-servicemen and providing them with employment opportunities in various departments.
