The Supreme Court declined to entertain a petition by the Samajwadi Party (SP) regarding their eviction from a Pilibhit municipality-owned building. The court criticized the SP for allegedly misusing its power while in governance to secure the allotment at a nominal rent of Rs 150 monthly.
